Rupesh - Milestone reached

Wednesday, November 22nd 2017, marks a milestone event in Sydney’s higher education sector, with Education Centre Australia (ECA) poised to graduate its 50,000th international student at the Sydney Town Hall.

The Hon. Ray Williams MP, Minister for Multiculturalism and Minister for Disability Services will be in attendance. Between 11.30am and 2 pm, a total of 250 international students will graduate from ECA’s Asia Pacific International College, and amongst them will be the 50,000th ECA graduate. The graduation is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the graduating students, as well as the dedicated staff who support them.

Mr Rupesh Singh, founder and CEO of ECA, says that:

this year’s graduates are a prime example of Australia’s ongoing commitment to the success of international students.
“Sydney plays an important role in the international student market.

Managed campus facilities such as those provided by ECA, offer international students the support they need to successfully complete their studies in Australia. This results in better student completion rates and positive outcomes for our higher education partners” he said.

The ECA graduation ceremony comes on the back of data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics which shows that Australia’s international education market is now Australia’s third largest export and generates $28.6 billion in revenue each year.

ECA is a long-term provider of quality international education options. It is proud to celebrate the success of its graduates who are now ready to progress from APIC and venture out into the world with their new qualifications.

All journalists and interested media professionals are most welcome to attend the ceremony to celebrate the milestone reached and can gain VIP entry by contacting our reception desk and asking for Mr Gavin Dowling, Chief Operating Officer.
