Professional Year Programs
The Professional Year program (PYP) is a Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) approved course that equips students with the professional and practical skills required to work in the Computer industry in Australia. This program is one of the pathways from university to employment within Australia.
The program has been designed, under Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) guidelines, principally for international students seeking to gain permanent residence.
ECA’S Professional Year Program is aimed at graduates of an IT Bachelor or Masters degree that have recently graduated and are holding a 485 Skilled Graduate (temporary) visa or Bridging Visa A.

Course Structure:
1 Opening boot camp
2 Australian workplace culture and communication
3 Workplace internship
4 Final boot camp
Class Schedule
260 hours class room based tuition (face to face training program)
24 x Saturdays 8.30am-5.30pm and
2 days opening and closing boot camps
or 24 weeks Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 4-9pm and
2 days opening and closing boot camps
